Totnes Renewable Energy Society (TRESOC) have teamed up with Totnes-based Yokk Solar to offer Community-financed Solar PV to businesses and home owners in the South Hams whose properties have roofs with high solar potential.
TRESOC, on behalf of its members, would purchase and own the PV system for the first 25 years and in return would receive the Feed-in Tariff payments generated from the PV installation.
This means property owners benefit by having no upfront or maintenance costs, just significantly lower electricity bills. And TRESOC’s members benefit through return on investment.

We are developing a plan for an anaerobic digestion plant using green “waste” materials to generate renewable electricity and heat for the local community.
